SnapSpace — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 Sept 2026

The short version

SnapSpace is a single-player puzzle game. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no servers of its own, and no analytics. Your progress lives on your device and nowhere else.

The one exception is advertising. SnapSpace shows adverts supplied by Google AdMob, and Google collects data through those adverts. That is the only part of this policy that is about anyone but you and your phone.

What SnapSpace stores on your device

Three small files, written by the game and readable only by it:

These stay on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere, they are not backed up to us, and we cannot see them. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

Advertising

SnapSpace shows adverts from Google AdMob so that the game can be free. There are two kinds:

To serve those adverts, Google may collect and process:

This data is collected by Google, not by us. We never see it, and we receive only aggregate reports of how many adverts were shown.

Google’s use of this data is governed by their own policies:

Your choices about advertising

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and in US states with comparable laws, SnapSpace asks for your consent before any personalised advertising happens, using Google’s User Messaging Platform. The consent form appears the first time you open the game. You can change your answer at any time: open the level menu and tap Ad Settings.

If you decline, or if you never answer, SnapSpace still shows adverts — but non-personalised ones, which are chosen from the content of the app rather than from anything about you.

On iOS, SnapSpace also asks Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission before anything else. Declining it prevents the advertising identifier being used to track you across apps, and the game works exactly the same either way.

On any device, you can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your system settings:

Children

SnapSpace is a general-audience app. It is not directed at children under 13, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and it is not marketed to them.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app, contact us at the address below and we will act on it.

You may withdraw consent at any time through Ad Settings in the level menu. Withdrawing it does not remove adverts; it makes them non-personalised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of personal data about you, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Because SnapSpace holds nothing about you on any server, requests about data collected through adverts are best directed to Google using the links above. For anything else, contact us.

Data retention

We retain nothing, because we collect nothing. The files on your device last until you delete the app. Data collected by Google through adverts is retained according to Google’s own policy.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new “last updated” date above.
